Alabama Lifespan Respite Resource Network™ (Alabama Respite™) is a statewide program serving caregivers who provide full time care for a loved one with a disability or chronic illness. Respite is a short break from daily caregiving duties. Alabama Respite™ strives to serve the needs of families and caregivers by providing access to high quality respite resources. As a program under the non-profit organization of United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville and Tennessee Valley, Inc., Alabama Respite™ serves as the lead agency for respite related information and referral for our state.

Your tax-deductable gift to Alabama Respite™ will make a difference in the lives of families throughout Alabama.

If you would like to donate to provide respite care services for a caregiver, your gift of:

• $250 will provide 25 hours of respite for a caregiver
• $100 will provide 10 hours of respite for a caregiver
• $50 will provide 5 hours of respite for a caregiver
• $25 will provide 2.5 hours of respite for a caregiver

Your contribution can also help Alabama Respite™ develop new opportunities for respite services, train respites providers, and educate policy makers about the need for additional state and federal funding for respite services.

A one-time gift or a monthly or quarterly pledge amount on your credit card can be made by calling Alabama Respite™ at 1-256-859-4900, or by filling in and mailing the following document: Donation Form.

Make checks payable to: UCP and clearly state in the “for” blank that the donation is for Alabama Respite.
