*** Alabama respite to develop district consumer advisory councils
In order to meet the needs in different areas of Alabama, we are looking for caregivers and those who work with caregivers who would be interested in developing a local Respite Services Coordinating Council. We hope to establish seven of these Councils in each of our Congressional Districts.
If you have an interest in working to increase respite funding and want to help educate caregivers on the need for respite, please let us know. Informing our legislators on the need for respite will be another important goal of each Council.
Contact us, we will be forming a group in your part of the State soon. 256 237 3683.
